As a science-based education organization, Imagine Our Florida, Inc. has decided to take our followers on a research journey that looks into fecal
glucocorticoid analyses in Florida black bears. This research will test stress hormones in bear populations to determine if human activity is causing stress in bears. The findings can then be used by landowners and wildlife agencies to implement more effective procedures for the health, safety and welfare of both wildlife and humans.
